A hacker group that attacked Japanese company GMO had its website shut down.
An American internet provider is believed to have closed the site because it judged the content to be inappropriate. Just before the site was shut down, the hackers posted data believed to contain stolen customer information and demanded a ransom. In response, GMO offered a reward of 150 million yen for information that could help identify the criminals.
GMO also sent a direct warning to the hackers, saying that it would file a criminal complaint if they did not delete the data by a set deadline.

アメリカのインターネットプロバイダーが、内容を不適切だと判断してサイトを閉鎖したとみられています。閉鎖の直前、ハッカー側は盗み取った顧客情報とみられるデータを投稿し、身代金を要求していました。これに対しGMO側は、犯人の特定につながる情報に1億5000万円の懸賞金を提示しました。
