A ferry carrying about 240 people sank because of bad weather in the Java Sea.
The ship left Surabaya and was traveling toward a city on Kalimantan Island. Before losing contact, the captain reported dangerous ocean conditions to authorities. More than 100 people were rescued, but at least 6 died and 130 remain missing.
Local rescue teams are actively searching the water to find the missing passengers.
