熊本で強い地震、死者13人に Earthquake Hits Kumamoto Japan: Death Toll Rises to 13

A strong earthquake hit Kumamoto, causing serious damage in several areas.
The death toll has risen to 13, including cases that are still under investigation. At AEON MALL Kumamoto in Kashima, 2 women in their 20s were confirmed dead after part of the second floor collapsed following a loud explosion. At Nippon Paper’s Yatsushiro Mill, where a chimney collapsed, 2 people were rescued but were later confirmed to be in cardiopulmonary arrest.
9 people are still missing, and rescue teams are continuing their search.

熊本県で強い地震が発生し、各地で大きな被害が出ています。
調査中のケースを含め、死者は13人となりました。嘉島町のイオンモール熊本では、館内で大きな爆発音が聞こえた後に建物の2階の一部が崩落し、20代の女性2人の死亡が確認されました。また、煙突が折れる被害があった日本製紙八代工場では、2人が救助されましたが、その後心肺停止が確認されました。
さらに9人の安否が分かっておらず、救助隊が捜索活動を続けています。
