Apple introduced its very first foldable smartphone, called the iPhone Duo, on September 9.
This brand-new device opens up to a large 7.6-inch screen and can be unlocked using Touch ID on the side button. To address the common problem of screen creases, Apple developed a special design that helps keep the display remarkably smooth. The phone starts at 364,800 yen and will officially go on sale on October 23.
Pre-orders begin on October 16, and the phone will be available in 2 stylish colors: Night Sky and Star White.

The foldable iPhone feels like the beginning of a new era for smartphones. Being able to carry a large screen in a compact device is very appealing. However, the price is quite high. It looks useful and exciting, but I think my regular iPhone is still enough for me.
