Major Japanese companies, including Bookoff and Lawson, were recently hit by cyberattacks that exposed about 8.5 million records.
Attackers gained unauthorized access to customer systems, causing a large amount of personal information to be leaked. The leaked information includes customers’ names, phone numbers, and home addresses. Fortunately, no credit card information was included in the leaked data.
The companies are now working to strengthen their security systems and prevent future attacks.
ブックオフやローソンをはじめとする日本の大手企業が最近、サイバー攻撃を受け、約850万件のデータが流出しました。
