Workers are tearing down the former home and studio of Akira Toriyama in Aichi Prefecture.
He created world-famous manga, including Dragon Ball, in this yellow building. Sadly, Toriyama, passed away in March 2024 at the age of 68. Many local people and fans feel sad to see the building go because it holds special memories for them.
Although the studio itself will disappear, his amazing works will live on in our hearts.

I wonder if there is anyone who doesn’t know Dragon Ball. It has been 2 years since Toriyama passed away, but seeing his studio being torn down makes me feel sad all over again. His works will never be destroyed and will continue to be loved for generations to come.
