A TV news crew spotted and filmed a very unusual black fox along a road in Hokkaido.
Except for the white tip of its tail, the animal was almost completely black. It was seen playing with 2 brown red foxes and searching for food in the ground. After resting on the grass for a short time, the wild animal walked away into a residential area.
A local veterinarian explained that this rare animal is likely a silver fox.
テレビの取材班が、北海道の道路沿いでとても珍しい黒いキツネを見つけ、撮影しました。
その動物は、シッポの先が白いことを除けば、ほぼ全身が真っ黒でした。2匹の茶色いキタキツネと遊んだり、地面の中にあるエサを探したりする姿が見られました。草むらで少し休んだ後、その野生動物は住宅街の中へ歩いていきました。
地元の獣医師は、この珍しい動物は「ギンギツネ」である可能性が高いと説明しています。
